The 4th annual Day of the Dead celebration returns downtown to the Ogden City Amphitheater with all-new activities including a colorful pedestrian parade, Ari and her Dancing Horses, a free concert with Las Cafeteras, and more.
This free community event features a beautiful community altar, live performances, captivating student art, a car show with altars, a lively mercadito full of local vendors, and delicious food.
The celebrated East L.A. band Las Cafeteras returns after a performance that was raved about at Ogden Music Festival earlier this year!
Las Cafeteras is on a three-week national tour in support of their third full-length studio album “A Night In Nepantla,” a fusion of traditional Mexican folk and electronic dance beats featuring several popular guest artists.
Other live entertainment includes Mariachi Fuego de Utah, Tamborazo Diamante De Utah, Yunuen Carrillo, Nathan Carrillo, Tribalovedance, Ballet Folklorico Eck, Ben Lomond Bagpipers, Emma Almanza, Abraham Moreno, Xanti Cabrera, and Ogden School District mariachi students.
Dia de Los Muertos en Ogden, organized by a team of Hispanic/Latinx locals, is a shared tradition for the community to come together, celebrate life, and honor the memory of those who have passed.
