Mountain Green Middle School held a food drive during Gratitude Week Nov. 13-17. The PTSO along with HOPE Squad and Student Council set a goal for the school to collect 1,000 items to donate to the Morgan Food Pantry.

Because the student body brought 1086 items to donate, teachers volunteered to be pied in the face Tuesday, Nov. 21, by the student of their choice.

Classes for each grade who donated the most items receive a treat. Winning classes were the seventh and eighth-grade mix, Mr. Hamilton with 110 items and Mrs. Gardner with 154 items, sixth grade, Mrs. Gibby with 128 items, and fifth grade, Mrs. L. Nelson with 186 items. λ
